Applicants Eligible to Apply Through the International Student Quota

(1) Candidates who are in the final year of high school or have already graduated may apply, provided that they have completed their entire high school education in a country other than Türkiye or the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

(2) Foreign nationals who have completed their entire high school education at a high school in Türkiye are eligible only if they meet the following conditions:

(a) Foreign nationals who also hold a Blue Card, on the condition that they have completed their high school education at embassy schools in Türkiye or at international private education institutions registered in the MOBİS system.

(b) Candidates who were brought to Türkiye within the scope of a project carried out by the Ministry of National Education and who completed their high school education in Türkiye under this project.

(3) Candidates who hold TRNC nationality may apply if they meet one of the following conditions:

(a) Residing in the TRNC, having completed their secondary education (high school) in the TRNC, and having GCE AL exam results,

(b) Having registered and studied at colleges or high schools in other countries between 2005–2010 and possessing (or being eligible to possess) GCE AL exam results,

(c) Having completed all of their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country and possessing a TR-YÖS exam result.

Applicants Not Eligible to Apply Through the International Student Quota

(1) Turkish citizens who have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Türkiye or in the TRNC.

(2) Dual nationals who are Turkish citizens or acquired Turkish citizenship by birth, and who have completed their secondary education (high school) in foreign mission schools located in Türkiye or in foreign high schools in Türkiye.

(3) TRNC citizens or dual nationals one of whose nationalities is TRNC, who have completed their entire secondary education (high school) in Türkiye or in the TRNC (except those who possess or will possess GCE AL results).

(4) TRNC citizens, and individuals who have renounced Turkish citizenship / hold a Blue Card, who are currently studying or have graduated from high schools in Türkiye or the TRNC.

(5) Foreign nationals who are currently studying or have graduated from high schools in Türkiye (except those studying at embassy schools, international private education institutions registered in the MOBİS system, and foreign nationals brought to Türkiye within the scope of a project carried out by the Ministry of National Education).
