International student applicants must have at least one of the following exam / diploma results at the minimum required scores when applying.

SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)

• Faculty of Engineering: General minimum 1350/1600, Mathematics minimum 700/800
• Faculty of Science: Minimum overall score of 1300/1600, minimum Math score of 700/800
• Faculty of Education: Minimum overall score of 1200/1600
• Other Programs: Minimum overall score of 1300/1600

IMPORTANT NOTE: Superscores are not accepted.

Your SAT score must be sent through the College Board and Bogazici University Collageboard Cod: 0796 ; otherwise, it will not be accepted.

ACT (American College Testing)

• The ACT Composite score must be at least 29/36.
  
  

International Baccalaureate (IB)

• The IB diploma total score must be at least 36/45.
  
  

GCE AL (General Certificate of Education – Advanced Levels)

• Applicants must have taken Advanced Level exams in at least 3 subjects relevant to the program they are applying for and must have received an A grade in each of these subjects.
  
  

International A Levels

• Applicants must have taken at least 3 A-level courses related to the program they are applying for and received an A grade in each.
  
  

AP (Advanced Placement)

• Applicants must have taken exams in at least 4 AP courses and received a score of at least 4/5 in each.

For applications to Engineering and Science Faculty programs, applicants must have received a score of at least 5 in Calculus AB or BC.

TR-YÖS (Turkey Foreign Student Exam)

• The TR-YÖS score must be at least 450/500.
  
  

WAEC / WASSCE (West African Examination Council – Senior School Certificate Examination)

• At least 3 A1 grades must be obtained in 6 subjects, and at least B3 grades in the other subjects.
  
  

French Baccalaureate (Baccalauréat)

• The overall average grade on the diploma must be at least 14.5/20.
  
  

Abitur (Germany)

• The Abitur overall grade must be at least 2.0.

Matura – Switzerland

• The diploma grade point average must be at least 5.0/6.

Matura – Austria

• The overall diploma grade must be at least 1.5.
  
  

GAOKAO (People's Republic of China)

Applicants must meet one of the following two requirements:

• A minimum score of 550 out of 750 in the relevant subject area on the Gaokao exam, or
• A minimum grade point average of 80% on a 12-year high school diploma (Senior Secondary School Certificate).
  
  

Pakistan Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)

• A minimum overall grade point average of 80% is required.
• For engineering and science programs, a minimum grade of 75% in Mathematics and Physics in the HSSC is mandatory.
  
  

International Science Olympiads

• Candidates who have won gold or silver medals in international science olympiads recognized by TÜBİTAK meet the application requirements.
